Powers was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in 1A Special District 2 (8 Man). The Cruisers beat Days Creek 56-32 earlier in the week.
Camas Valley extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Elkton, 74-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Hornets.
Camas Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. JOSH MATTOX has thrown for 809 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Caleb LIndsey has 10 catches for 409 yards. Josh Garcia leads the league in rushing with 504 yards.
The marquee game in 1A Special District 2 (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Prospect and Camas Valley. The Cougars enters the game ranked 15th in the state, while Eli Wolfe's team ranks first.
Hosanna Christian took down Butte Falls 72-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
