Kaycee McManus posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, McManus and Bremen are taking a road trip to challenge Oak Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time these two faced off, McManus and Co. were forced to settle for a 16-1 loss.
