The Horizon Science Academy Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 91-37 defeat at the hands of East Tech. Horizon Science Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-25.
East Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from George Thomas, who dropped a triple-double on 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. Keshawn Ellington was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Horizon Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for East Tech, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
