The Harbor Creek Huskies were the 59-40 winner over the Fort LeBoeuf Bison when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Harbor Creek took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort LeBoeuf on Friday. Harbor Creek just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braylen Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Tucker Chwatek was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Harbor Creek has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harbor Creek will challenge McDowell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McDowell will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Fort LeBoeuf and Cathedral Prep will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Cathedral Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
