Oconto Falls is 0-10 against Wrightstown since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Oconto Falls Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Wrightstown Tigers at 7:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, Oconto Falls had to suffer through a rough 71-32 loss at the hands of Clintonville. While losing is never fun, Oconto Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while Clintonville is ranked 86th).
Despite the loss, Oconto Falls had strong showings from Jameson Beaman, who scored 14 points, and Alex Haines, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Wrightstown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Kewaunee with a sharp 87-67 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wrightstown.
Oconto Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Wrightstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.
Oconto Falls couldn't quite finish off Wrightstown in their previous meeting back in January and fell 55-53. Can Oconto Falls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
