Southside had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Fort Payne Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since September 9th.

Southside took Fort Payne into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 23-25, 15-11.

Southside's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Fort Payne, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 38-13.

Looking ahead, Southside will be playing in front of their home fans against Pell City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Payne, they are taking a road trip to square off against Sylvania at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
