Midland waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Lapeer Lightning get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Chemics might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Midland's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lapeer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Midland is taking a road trip to face off against Grand Ledge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lapeer, they will face off against Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
