Robert Grenga Turns in Season-Best Effort
Ponaganset was led to victory by Robert Grenga, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Grenga threw for 119 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown.
The victory for Ponaganset keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Grenga and Ponaganset will host Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jacob Soulliere was a major factor in Pilgrim's victory over East Greenwich on Saturday. Soulliere was unstoppable, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Soulliere and Pilgrim will take on Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Soulliere up against the Purple's star RB Jordan Duke. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jerry Pimental Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Mt. Hope was led to victory by Jerry Pimental, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Pimental rushed for 203 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (117.6). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Mt. Hope pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They and Stafford/Somers/East Windsor will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Carter Clifton Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Saturday, Pilgrim got the W thanks in part to Carter Clifton playing the best football he has all season. Clifton threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Clifton and Pilgrim will face off against Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Clifton up against the Purple's star quarterback Parker Howley. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
