Guyer is 3-0 against Rock Hill since December of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Guyer Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, Guyer strolled past Prosper with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. Given Guyer's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Prosper is ranked 213th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Rock Hill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 62-58 to McKinney. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rock Hill in their matchups with McKinney: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Rock Hill saw an underclassman step up: Keyshawn Myles dropped a double-double on 33 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Myles has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Milton, who scored 11 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Guyer and bumps their season record up to 18-8. As for Rock Hill, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Guyer strolled past Rock Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 74-59. Will Guyer repeat their success, or does Rock Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
