Hattiesburg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristen Keys, who scored 14 points. Stephen McCullon Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Hattiesburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Pascagoula, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Hattiesburg will head out on the road to face off against South Pike at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Pike is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Pascagoula, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harrison Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrison Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Pascagoula likes a good challenge.
