The New Fairfield Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the New Milford Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Fairfield will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, everything went New Fairfield's way against the Falcons as the Rebels made off with a 58-38 win.
Meanwhile, New Milford took a serious blow against the Lancers on Monday, falling 80-32. New Milford has not had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Armani Checo, who scored ten points. Christian Robitaille was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
New Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for New Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
New Fairfield strolled past the Green Wave in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 51-36. Does New Fairfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Wave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
