The Minco Bulldogs put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 26-7 victory over Crescent. That's another feather in the cap for Minco, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Minco had a senior duo take command as Jake Carruth rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry and Jayden Sayarath rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Minco's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.3 points per game. As for Crescent, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-1.
Minco will be playing at home against Casady at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Casady is ranked 103rd, while Minco is ranked 78th). As for Crescent, they will head out on the road to face off against Cashion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
