Mitchell is 9-0 against Fivay since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Mitchell Mustangs will host the Fivay Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Fivay was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Cypress Creek, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Coyotes : they've now lost seven in a row.

Fivay's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

Mitchell took their win against Fivay in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 8-0. Will Mitchell repeat their success, or does Fivay have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
