It was a good run, but Avon Old Farms unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Trinity-Pawling School Pride by a score of 6-4. The Beavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pride earlier this season, when they won 9-5.

Avon Old Farms' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for Trinity-Pawling School, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Avon Old Farms will face off against rival Hotchkiss School at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Trinity-Pawling School is set to square off against their familiar foe Westminster School at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
