Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenady Dawson, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jaiden Epps was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Port Neches-Groves' loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Buna, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.
