While Christ the Cornerstone Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mintz Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-18.
Sandhills Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-6.
Sandhills Classical Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Christ the Cornerstone Academy in their previous meeting last Monday, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
