East Prairie won the last time they faced Chaffee, and things went their way on Friday, too. East Prairie put a hurting on Chaffee to the tune of 44-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for East Prairie as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped East Prairie's record up to 2-4. The loss dropped Chaffee's record to 1-5.
East Prairie will look to defend their home turf next week against Portageville at 7:00 PM. Portageville took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse East Prairie's good fortune. As for Chaffee, they will face off against Doniphan. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Chaffee and six for Doniphan.
