They fell to the War Eagles 73-67. New Horizons Prep Academy's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodward Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kameron Herring, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. The matchup was Herring's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kayla Whitner, who scored 18 points.
New Horizons Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Woodward Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
New Horizons Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodward Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Greenforest at 3:00 p.m. on December 29th.
