Basketball Recap: Olive Branch Takes a Loss

If Olive Branch was feeling good fresh off their 62-41 takedown of North Panola last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Olive Branch Conquistadors had to suffer through a 75-43 loss at the hands of the Starkville Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Conquistadors have suffered since November 16th.

With the loss, Olive Branch broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6. As for Starkville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Olive Branch and Overton will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Starkville and Hancock will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
