It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the King George Foxes had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-29 victory over Dinwiddie. King George's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Raphael Tucker and Harry Dalton certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Tucker rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns, while Dalton rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Tucker hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for six straight games.
King George's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.86 points. As for Dinwiddie, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
King George will play host again and welcome Varina, where kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Varina is ranked tenth, while King George is ranked 13th). Dinwiddie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
