Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fredonia). They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 53-17 win over the Beaver Dam Diamondback. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Beaver Dam's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Crissy Medina, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Garcia, who earned six points.

Fredonia pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points per game. As for Beaver Dam, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fredonia and Seligman will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fredonia's defense has only allowed 19.2 points per game this season, so Seligman's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Beaver Dam, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Panguitch at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Beaver Dam hasn't scored more than 25 points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.
