They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Sanderson 65-23 at home. Winning may never get old, but Buena Vista sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Buena Vista found their leader in underclassman Alexander Porras, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Porras hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Jaden Jurado, who scored 14 points.
Buena Vista pushed their record up to 16-5 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.91 points. As for Sanderson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Buena Vista will head out on the road to face off against Comstock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sanderson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rankin at 7:30 p.m. Rankin is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
