Having just played yesterday, the Dexter Dreadnaughts will jump right back in to play the Ferndale Eagles at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep alive their perfect three-game seasons.
On Friday, Dexter blew past Lincoln, posting a 55-21 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Ferndale sidestepped Cass Tech for a 56-53 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ferndale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaliyah Frost, who scored 20 points. Frost is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyanna McGarrell, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Dexter's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ferndale, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
