The Tippecanoe HomeSchool Tornados had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 47-34 victory over Homefires on Friday. The win was just what Tippecanoe HomeSchool needed coming off of a 69-33 loss in their prior match.
When it comes to explaining why Homefires lost, one person who can't be blamed is Colin Chesnut. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. The contest was Chesnut's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Rademacher, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
The last time Tippecanoe HomeSchool lost on the road was back back in November. Having now won three straight away games, they've pushed their record up to 1-4. As for Homefires, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tippecanoe HomeSchool will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Homefires on January 26, 2024. As for Homefires, they will be playing at home against First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. First Baptist Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
