Miles Omalley Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Miles Omalley posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Maranatha over Linfield Christian on Friday. Omalley rushed for 251 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 44 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Omalley might just drop another big game when he faces off against Western Christian on Friday. When Omalley last faced the Fighting Lancers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 235 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also caught a touchdown.
