Skyline came tearing into Thursday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the McClymonds Warriors with a sharp 19-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 two weeks ago.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for McClymonds, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will square off against Leadership at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Leadership has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.4 runs per game on average), something Skyline will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McClymonds, they will challenge Oakland Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
