The Bloomfield Cardinals were the 53-46 winner over the North Central Thunderbirds when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Bloomfield had to suffer through a rough 58-12 loss at the hands of North Central. Bloomfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jalyn Davidson was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds for North Central. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Secrest, who scored 11 points.
Bloomfield has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 1-8 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.0 points per game. As for North Central, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Bloomfield's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Barr-Reeve at 12:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for North Central, they will head out on the road to face off against North Daviess at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
