The Ida Bluestreaks typically have all the answers at home, but on Thursday the Onsted Wildcats proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 63-58 W over the Bluestreaks. That's two games straight that Onsted has won by exactly five points.
It was another big night for Ayden Davis, who almost dropped a triple-double on 28 points, 17 rebounds, and nine blocks. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Henagan, who scored 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Onsted and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Ida, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.
Onsted's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Hillsdale is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Ida, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Airport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
