The Classical Academy won the last time they faced Vista Ridge and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolves 47-6. Considering the Titans have won five games by more than 24  points this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kelsey Peterson was  her usual excellent self, throwing for 314 yards and seven  TDs while completing 81.6% of her passes. Those  seven  passing touchdowns gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ellie Baldini, who picked up 85 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 The Classical Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over.  Jerrica Thompson led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by herself.
The Classical Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 34.6 points over those games. As for Vista Ridge, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-6.
 The Classical Academy has already played their next contest,  a  31-0  win against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 4th. As for Vista Ridge, they will face off against Air Academy at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Wolves 14.7, the Kadets 13.6) so any  points scored will be well earned.
