Franklin Made His Presence Known in Lincoln County's 49-6 Win
Starting off the list is Lincoln County's Maddox Franklin, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Franklin threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Franklin County's probably not too fond of Franklin given he always seems to get the better of them. Franklin threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes the last time he and the Rebels duked it out back in September of 2023.

Lincoln County picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carsen Carter. Carter was dynamite, rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Logan Clayton Leads Lawrence County over Tullahoma
On Thursday, Lawrence County had to settle for second even though Logan Clayton put up the best numbers he has all season. Clayton rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Lawrence County has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Clayton and Lawrence County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Shelbyville Central at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
