West Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kingston Wheatley, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Wheatley set a new season high mark in blocks with three. Another player making a difference was Saaid Lee, who scored 17 points.
Cardinal O'Hara's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for West Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Cardinal O'Hara will be playing at home against Conwell-Egan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic has insisted on making their lastfive contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 4-1 during that stretch of close contests.
