After eight games on the road, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Red Hill Salukis at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Wednesday, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was the victim of a rough 62-39 loss at the hands of Dieterich. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.
Despite the defeat, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City had strong showings from Kaidyn Calame, who scored ten points, and AJ Radloff, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Gage Lorton, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Red Hill pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grayville. Red Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Red Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
