Kearney was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in A District 4. Earlier in the week, the Bearcats defeated Lincoln 27-0.

Michael Lambert made the biggest impact on defense this week as Fremont lost to Grand Island. The 6-foot-0 senior pulled down 1 interception.
Pierce Almond put up the best numbers in passing as the Islanders topped the Tigers. He finished with 8 completions for 145 yards and 1 touchdown. Almond's favorite target this week was Trevor Wojtalewicz, who caught 3 passes for 83 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Fremont's Eliott Gloeb and Noah Voss have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Gloeb has thrown for 1,205 yards this season, while Voss has 35 catches for 497 yards. Yohanna Shokai from the Links leads the league in rushing with 785 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Grand Island takes on second place North Star. Last week, Grand Island bested Seth McClain's team, while the Navigators beat the Bulldogs.
