Meanwhile, South Dearborn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 60-38 walloping at the hands of Batesville. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Dearborn in their matchups with Batesville: they've now lost eight in a row.
South Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for South Dearborn, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
Everything came up roses for South Ripley against South Dearborn in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 57-28 victory. Will South Ripley repeat their success, or does South Dearborn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
