Preston put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Victory Christian Conquerors an 11-0 shutout. Fans of the Pirates have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Kaden Dean made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
