Pleasanton is 9-1 against Loomis since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pleasanton Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Loomis Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Pleasanton will be strutting in after a victory while Loomis will be coming in after a loss.
In what's become a running theme this season, Pleasanton gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Central Valley 52-29. The victory was some much needed relief for Pleasanton as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Natalie Rasmussen, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Tyra Sekutera, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Loomis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 52-48 to Axtell. Loomis has struggled against Axtell recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Pleasanton's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Loomis, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
Everything went Pleasanton's way against Loomis when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Pleasanton made off with a 65-40 victory. With Pleasanton ahead 35-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
