Even though The Farragut Admirals have not done well against the Maryville Red Rebels recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Farragut came out on top in a nail-biter against Maryville and snuck past 13-10. Farragut didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Wyatt J Drummy, who rushed for 166 yards. J Drummy definitely has the trust of the coaching staff as he's now carried the ball at least 25 times in the last three games he's played.
Farragut's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Maryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Farragut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Maryville will head out on the road to face off against Science Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Science Hill will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
