After losing to Arlington the last time they met, Bothell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars were the clear victors by  a  30-7 margin over the Eagles on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Cougars.
Bothell found their leader in sophomore  Mylez Welch, who rushed for 119 yards and three  touchdowns on only nine carries.

Bothell's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Looking ahead, Bothell will head out to  face off against Lewiston  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Arlington, they will be playing at home against Jackson  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The  matchup will  give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
