The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 15th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Plenty Coups on the road and fell 66-24. Reed Point/Rapelje was down 48-16 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Despite the loss, Reed Point/Rapelje still got an impressive performance from Axel Blodgett, who scored seven points along with 21 rebounds.
Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Plenty Coups, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.
Reed Point/Rapelje will face off against Absarokee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Reed Point/Rapelje focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday. Plenty Coups does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
