Hopefully Everest Collegiate is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than University Liggett in Michigan (Everest Collegiate is ranked 95th, while University Liggett is ranked 479th).
Everest Collegiate unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Cranbrook Kingswood 40-36.
Meanwhile, University Liggett came up short against Oakland Christian two weeks ago and fell 53-41. University Liggett has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Everest Collegiate's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for University Liggett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Everest Collegiate came up short against University Liggett in their previous matchup back in March of 2021, falling 51-47. Can Everest Collegiate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
