After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spirit Lake, Spencer was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Jesup J-Hawks get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Spencer back to even at 7-7. As for Jesup, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spencer will take on Sioux City North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Stars will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jesup, they will challenge Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the J-Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
