Softball Recap: Bonneville Has No Trouble Against East

Bonneville extended their postseason success on Monday against East. They put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 17-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Leopards: they've now won seven in a row.

Bonneville got a massive performance out of Andie Elmer, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Elmer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Samantha Mills, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Bonneville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are 5-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bonneville's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-12.

Bonneville has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Box Elder on the 15th. East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
