Despite the loss, El Rancho still got an impressive performance from Adam Rivas, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rivas has scored all season.
El Rancho has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 15 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season. As for La Serna, they pushed their record up to 16-11 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Rancho will square off against the Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Fe has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. California has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 293 points over their last four games.
