It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Mize Bulldogs can now relate to. They took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scott Central on Friday. Mize's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Among those leading the charge was Tyquan Bounds, who rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry.
Mize's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Scott Central, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Mize does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Scott Central will face off against Raleigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Raleigh is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
