In what's become a running theme this season, the Germantown Mavericks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Murrah 60-30 at home. The victory was nothing new for Germantown as they're now sitting on three straight.
It was another big night for Alana Rouser, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Rouser is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Raegan Jordan was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven assists.
Germantown pushed their record up to 18-9 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Murrah, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.
Germantown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Murrah's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. on February 5th. Starkville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mustangs in Mississippi (the Yellowjackets are ranked fourth, while the Mustangs are ranked 188th).
