Everything went Magoffin County's way against East Ridge last week as the team secured a 41-0 win. Magoffin County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Betsy Layne lost to East Carter, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-50.
Magoffin County's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Betsy Layne's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Magoffin County's success rolls on or if Betsy Layne are able to steal their positive momentum.
