Cunningham has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Stafford Trojans on Tuesday. Hopefully Cunningham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
In what's become a running theme this season, Cunningham gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on South Barber with a sharp 60-36 victory.
Luke Albers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke McGuire, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Stafford ended up a good deal behind Central Christian on Friday and lost 53-38.
Cunningham's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Stafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Everything went Cunningham's way against Stafford when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Cunningham made off with a 57-34 victory. Will Cunningham repeat their success, or does Stafford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
