Roby's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Highland Hornets with a sharp 40-16 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

Roby is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.4 points over those games. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Roby and Highland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Lions will square off against Hermleigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (116 vs. 31). Meanwhile, Highland (ranked 188th) will meet Westbrook (ranked 16th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
