Red Rock Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Simonson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Simonson is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Corey Arkell was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Red Rock Central has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Southwest Minnesota Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Rock Central will take on Mountain Lake/Comfrey at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Minnesota Christian, they will play host again and welcome Murray County Central, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Minnesota Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 527 points over their last seven games.
