The Waco Lions's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past South Garland with points to spare, taking the game 64-48.
South Garland's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Medford Body, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Elijah Darden who scored 21 points. Darden scored a full 43.8% of South Garland's points, the 14th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Waco's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for South Garland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Waco will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. Lake Belton is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. South Garland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wyatt at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th.
